Original House of Pancakes - A First Visit

Well I certainly hope the House Original Pancakes as good everywhere as in Fairview Park, Ohio this morning. We were greeted promptly and politely by one of the two girls behind the counter, and taken directly to our choice of table or booth. The whole place was quite clear, with some interesting designs and decorations on the wall 3/4. There are different shaped windows cut out of the wall with some nice looking vases, bowls and other ornaments placed in what I considered to be a fun way. Two paintings on the wall in the booth we were both rather nice floral displays, and they did say something to me about the morning and pancakes.

Our server came quickly and immediately asked if we had eaten there before after introducing himself. When we say 'no' he explains in detail the entire menu, but somehow a moment, take our drink order and promised to return with alacrity. Indeed he did, and settled in 3, 2, 1 meal, mine with bacon pancakes, bacon and eggs over easy, hash cornbeef side, and my girlfriend with blueberry pancakes, bacon and eggs ever harder and our friendly waitress helped ensure we all will be ready in a short time, and set out to help another table.

I doubt it has been a full 12 minutes later when he returned to us, arms laden with goods. I will say this first and foremost. Certain that the House Original Pancakes have the BEST meat I ever get in a restaurant, ever. I might have better prepared me for myself, but delicious. Cutting quite thick, cooked to perfection and there are some pretty generous in just 2 strips. Bacon pancakes are very good, they do not even need butter, soft and firm at the same time. Blueberry we found somewhat lacking, however. They are rather flat and while good, they definitely could be better. Both eggs are cooked exactly to order, and even the coffee is good enough for anything to eat all gone, a $ 25.00 after a paltry tip that much for all that food.

I would say hash cornbeef less weight, a lot of my disappointment. It was presented in a bowl on a platter like a trough, with sauces that are available in the cup on it. The presentation is excellent, the food itself is not. It was cooked a bit lighter with not enough flavor for my taste. Large potatoes and cooked well. I prefer hash, experienced heavier, so it may be my personal taste there. When I asked if I wanted to box for the rest of the hash and said no, our superhero waiter asked if increased tobacco. When I gave my comments, he ran to get our check as I asked for it. Once again, I am very pleased to see he has asked his manager to reduce food prices to go home fries $ 2.75 to $ 4.50 hash. A woman who is proficient in the job, for sure.

Indeed, I would recommend this place to anyone who asks, and even those who do not. The service, food and beautiful atmosphere, and it is a whole lot of fun to start the day. I'm even considering returning to the gap in their six scrambled eggs, and perhaps ask if the artwork on the walls at all is available for purchase. I really like the pieces of greater interest.
